Our Kunekune pigs are definitely enjoying fall on the farm. 🍂🐷
They’ve been spending their days out on pasture, enjoying the cooler weather and making quick work of the pumpkins we bring them. 🎃 Watching them graze, root around, and enjoy the pasture is one of those simple farm moments we really love.
We raise our pigs right here at Wholesome Meadow Farms on pasture with non-GMO feed, giving them plenty of space and time to grow naturally.
Happy pigs, good pasture, and eventually some really good farm-raised pork for the table. 🌾

First fire of the season. 🔥

After a long day of chores, there’s nothing better than sitting by the fire, slowing things down, and enjoying a cool fall evening on the farm.

Fall has always been our favorite season here at Wholesome Meadow Farms — cooler mornings, comfortable evenings, and that feeling that comes with another hard day’s work done.

The animals are settled, the chores are finished, and now it’s time to enjoy the fire.

This is farm life. And we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

🐔🦃 A Great Processing Day at Wholesome Meadow Farms!

Today we welcomed our first Vernon family who brought their own chickens and turkeys to the farm for processing.

In about 2 hours, everything was processed, cleaned, packaged, and ready to head home for their freezer and kitchen.

We really enjoy being able to help other local families who are raising their own food. Sometimes you just need an extra set of hands to get processing day done, and that’s exactly what we’re here for.

From their farm to ours, and then back home ready for the family table. ❤️

If you raise your own poultry and need help with processing, reach out to reserve a Friday or Saturday appointment.
