Wow. It’s really hard to put into words how it felt yesterday looking into the taproom and out across the lawn, seeing our local community enjoying a place we’ve spent the last three years pouring our hearts and souls into.

The pickleball courts were full, the beer was flowing, the kitchen was working in overdrive, and the live music made the night even more special.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who came out to our “not so soft” soft opening 😂. What an incredible night.

Thank you for your patience and support as we continue growing our team and refining our workflows to create the best possible experience for Vero Beach. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to share all the exciting events and plans we have ahead for this community.

We’re incredibly excited to finally open the doors of Hogan Yards 🍊 to the public. Join us for our first week of soft opening as we begin welcoming everyone into the space we’ve worked so hard to bring to life.

We’ll be open daily beginning Friday, May 22nd with limited soft opening hours from 12 PM – 9 PM. Please note we will be closed Sunday, May 24th as we continue preparing for the weeks ahead.

To make the weekend even better, we’ll also have live music Friday and Saturday night from 6 PM – 9 PM. Come grab some food, enjoy a drink, explore the property, and spend some time with us as we kick things off.

We’re also excited to share that extended pickleball court reservation hours are now available. Courts can be reserved here:

HY Pickleball Soft Opening reservations are officially live 🎉

We’re opening up reservations for all 3 of our covered pickleball courts this week from 10am–3pm as part of our soft opening. This is just the beginning, so don’t worry, expanded hours will be announced soon with our official grand opening.

We are also planning to launch several soft opening events later this week, but for now the Hogan Yards dining room and bar are still not fully open to the public while we continue training and preparing behind the scenes.

A few quick reminders before you come out:
• Bathrooms will be available
• Please be sure to bring water and stay hydrated in the Florida heat

We can’t wait to see everyone out on the courts and officially kick off HYP.

🚨We are at capacity. We look forward to seeing those that purchased tickets on Sunday! 🚨

After an incredibly busy first half of the week, we are excited to officially share that Hogan Yards has received our Certificate of Occupancy and passed our final health inspection earlier this afternoon.

We truly tried our best to be fully open to the public in time for this weekend, but while we are not quite ready for a full opening just yet, we still wanted to find a way to bring people together and share this special place we’ve been working so hard on.

So for Sunday, we’re putting together a fun outdoor event on the Hogan Yards lawn.

While our kitchen won’t officially be open yet because we’ll be spending next week training our new staff, our food provider friends graciously stepped in to help sponsor the event by providing their grill and staff for the afternoon.

Tickets are $40 per person and include:
• Choice of hamburger or hot dog
• Chips
• One alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage

Bring on the Star Ruby. 🍊🍺

Additional beer will be available for purchase.

Tickets are going to be very limited, so we highly recommend grabbing them early once they go live.

A few things to note:
• Tickets will be checked by an usher before entry onto the property
• Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets
• Seating will be available on both the lawn and porch areas
• Pickleball court reservations will also officially be open this weekend

We’ll be making a separate post soon with more details about pickleball reservations and everything we have planned for HY Pickleball.

We are incredibly excited to finally start sharing Hogan Yards with everyone. We’ve poured so much time, energy, stress, excitement, and love into this project, and this feels like the beginning of something really special.

We are already feverishly planning our soft opening events, so stay tuned for more information soon. We just couldn’t let this weekend pass without trying to put something together for the community.

We can’t wait to see everyone out on the lawn Sunday.

Big moves this morning 🔥

The smokers have officially rolled into their new home at Hogan Yards and the excitement at Pepper & Salt BBQ is REAL. Watching these beasts make their way over was a moment we’ve been waiting on for a long time, and now it’s all starting to feel very real.

Smoke, fire, BBQ, and a whole lot of hard work are coming together under one roof. We can already smell what’s next 👀

And before you ask, yes, opening dates are coming soon. We promise. Stay close. 🔥🍖

Our weekly Friday update is here 🤍

As we inch closer and closer to completion at Hogan Yards, we wanted to take a moment to highlight something that’s really near and dear to us. We’re continuing to honor the history of the packing house and the citrus industry right here in Indian River County.

So much care has gone into preserving that story, from the details in the space to the pieces on the walls. Our hope is that when you’re here, you’ll take a minute to look around, sit back, and check out all the little touches that tell such an important part of our local history.

We can’t wait to share this space with you and see it filled with people, food, drinks, and a lot of good memories. 🍊
