Happy Opening Day of Keeneland, flower friends!

I’m happy to share that I’m running it back with The Thoroughbred Club of America for the fall meet and will once again be the table flowers all month.

I was honored to play a small role in a special 50th anniversary celebration a few weeks ago by providing florals for their event.

The bourbon bottle vases were a perfect nod to Kentucky which looked stunning alongside chinoiserie vases, their something blue.

The best part is that the bourbon bottles allowed for the flowers to be shared after the event. I love when the attendees can take flowers home so they are enjoyed longer.

My flabbers are still ghasted at the turnout and support yesterday!

Yesterday was Ophelia the Flower Truck’s first event and she couldn’t have had a better debut! People loved taking photos with the truck and the truck bed flower bar was perfection 👌 People traveled near and far for the Gilmore Girls Weekend and it was fun hearing all of their stories and welcoming them to our beautiful town! 🩵

May my flowers always be a safe haven for the bees 🐝

Last night the garden was full of bees resting on various celosia. They were tucked in every nook & cranny they could find - it was such a sweet thing to stumble upon when harvesting peppers.

🌸FLOWER UPDATE: I’ll be setting up with my favorite gals at Mind & Body Wellness Medspa | Facials | Injectables for the Gilmore Girls weekend on Saturday, Sept 26 in downtown Versailles!

I’ll be bringing all the flowers, garlic braids and more! Make sure to stop by and see us, you won’t want to miss out!! 💐🧄

Unfortunately, I will not be setting up a booth at the twilight festival this year so this will be your chance to snag some flowers!!

Thank a beekeeper today! Beekeeping is challenging any day but especially hard during extreme heat.

I just received my new top feeders for the hives so I wanted to get them added to keep my bees fed and avoid robbing. I tried to be as quick as possible but in 15 minutes was profusely sweating in my suit 🥵

Luckily the bees are worth every drop of sweat or steroid injections needed to keep them happy & healthy! 🐝
