The first apple from the orchard has arrived, and now I won’t stop thinking about it until next year!! It was crisp, tart and so flavorful! It makes me so excited for the coming years and all the delicious things coming!

‘The Jugs Orchard’ was planted in March 2025 after I won my girlz-only fantasy football league (aka The Jugs League) and had some extra farm cash. 😂🏆🏈Fast forward a year and a half, and we have our first apples! It’s the win that keeps on giving!

Flower friends, I’m HONORED to be a small part of the Lexington Open: Ladies Love Lunch event next Tuesday, July 28th.

To be considered a local ‘tastemaker’ and see my name next to two of my favorite things: Tyler Robertson & Maker's Mark is a pinch me moment! I’ll be onsite (with my petal pusher Di Boyer) doing a floral arranging demonstration and gabbing about flowers and my farm. My favorite topic! 🌸💐

Dahlias are starting to show up and I’m thrilled because I’ve been waiting so patiently for these cuties. These varieties were all successfully overwintered in-ground at the farm and are arriving earlier than last year! The Japanese beetles tried to nosh on some but I think I’ve finally gotten them under control. ❌🪲

I also planted two more rows of new & familiar dahlia varieties but those won’t be ready for another month or two.

I’m hoping to be back at Market Days at the District next weekend (July 25) with flowers, limited quantities of garlic and seasonings! 🌸🧄🧂

They also got the first Ballerina zinnia at the farm, I can’t wait for the rest of them to arrive. It won’t be long now and I’ve missed them so! 🌸

Nothing better than the sound of a garlic pull!! All of the garlic 🧄 on the farm has been harvested and is currently curing in the garage.

This was a great garlic year for me and ended up with some really large bulbs which makes me so happy! It all starts with quality bulbs and Keene Garlic Farm is always a 10/10 for me! Growing garlic is a labor of patience and love but it’s so worth it!

I’m already thinking about my planting plans for the fall and expanding my garlic beds so I grow grow more ! 🧄
