Anyone who knows me, knows I like cocktails. 🍸 And cucumbers. 🥒 These cocktail cucumbers aptly named ‘gimlet’ are something we are testing out on the farm. Sorry they won’t be at markets this weekend, but I will be!

Frankfort 8:30-12:00 on Saturday

And go see Daniel in Lexington Saturday (8-2, Downtown) and Sunday (10-2, Southland)

If you come see me, I’ll tell you how good they are, because I’m probably going to eat them all, perhaps while drinking a cucumber gimlet. 🙂

Cocoa-Coco-Mint!!!! Ezra says, “wow, these are actually good” (as if their mom makes bad popsicles, pssh). Popsicles now stocked in the farm store too! Open everyday 8 to 8. 215 Craig’s Creek Rd Versailles. Did you know that there is always an element of the farm in all our popsicles? We surely don’t grow mangoes, but all the syrups we make that go into the popsicles are made using things on the farm. Did you also know that when possible we use organic ingredients? Did you also know they travel well and you can freeze them back up when you get home? And if you want the healthy things too, come find us at market this weekend! Frankfort on Holmes St. (Saturday 8:30-12), Lexington (Downtown Saturday 8-2, Southland Sunday 10-2). Lots of lettuce, chard, kale, spinach, beet greens, green onions, plants, pickles, honey and more!

Meet Daniel, newest addition to the Salad Days team, but not new to farming (lucky catch!). You can find him rocking our booth at the Lexington markets. Saturday downtown 8-2 and Sunday on Southland 10-2. So come say hi 👋 and get your greens, honey, pickles, radishes, and more! We will also be having our last Frankfort winter market on Saturday 10:00-11:30. Also our last market at this old location, moving to Holmes Street next week! Farm Store is stocked with lettuce, spinach, kale, roots, and radishes!

Many of you know Keely, (beautiful lady on the right, that’s just silly ol me on the left) from the markets and certainly as the power behind our social media. It is with a sad sad heart that I say goodbye to her time on the farm. After over 5 years of hard work, dedication, laughter and joy Keely is onto her next journey. I wish you the best of luck and can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve given Salad Days!

Hopefully I don’t let you all down with my social media inadequacy. Can’t ever live up to Keelys humor, cuteness and awesome videos. But middle aged me, who is always behind the times is gonna try.

For a quick farm update: it’s been a tough winter mentally and physically. But things are starting to get going and we’re hoping to have some greens in a few weeks. Sorry the farm store is pretty bare and we haven’t been at markets, but hoping for a great season this year!
