I love my “work” -I realllllly do and just wanted to share a few special images from some very amazing births I was honored to witness recently. People think we midwives hold so many babies but the reality is we hold the mothers- the families - these squishy nuggets just pass through our hands for a brief moment. Sometimes we do hold babies- but later and that’s Ok! I love talking about their birth stories and seeing these new smiles at their final postpartum visits! AND we even sometimes have the honor of helping our own work families is their grand matrescence transformations. I feel like a great auntie- in a room with these powerful women ❤️❤️❤️
