Long over due post about whats going on around here!
Larry Zito grew up with pigs and was ready for more. Moma pig has 8 sweet babies. Our 12 yr old is going to do her first year of 4h and show a pig as well as her goats for dairy.
(No pigs are available).
We also acquired some suffolk and suffolk blue face sheep that should all lamb in March.
(Here are the Rams)
Almost all of the goats are in the love pens for late April early May kids.
Happy is retired after an emergency c section of an over 10 pound buck who was absolutely beautiful but didnt make it because of his size. (She is available to a pet home and I have a sweet weather to go along with her named George if anyone is looking for some weadeaters.
And Cayvens tiny tot of a doe from last spring is going to grow one more year before we freshen her.
If the weather is as beautiful in two weeks as it was today I'll see if I can get some fun update pictures of everyone even though the boys look terrible from their cologne.
We still have chickens! Lots of them and i love my rainbow eggs. Im sure some of the girls still haven't started laying because I had chicks all the way until almost fall which is why I absolutely will not be doing chicks this year...
We also have 2 pairs of Sebastopol geese a pair of African geese a pair of call ducks and 4 blue runner ducks because come on theyre so stinking cute!!!
And the two cows ...
The brown swiss is Lydia and the black one is Jelly bean she is a jersey crossed brown swiss.
They will both be three this spring.
Lydia was my mother's day present and jelly bean is actually a friends.
We both raised the ladies planning to breed but life has changed and we've both decided to find new homes for them where they can bring milk to a homestead. They are NOT bred and have NOT been bred. If your interested please let me know.
