We love The Finger Lakes! These 11 lakes are at the heart of everything we do. When you sip & shop with Rooted, you are not only supporting a small (very small) family business, you are supporting all of our wonderful local farmers and wineries! Every dollar spent here allows us to showcases more wine partners. We have a running list of winery's we are eager to get on the menu!

We had the pleasure of hosting an onsite tasting with Miles Wine Cellars. Their wines were outstanding and we anticipate adding some of their vintages to our menu as space permits. If you are enjoying the sunshine, we recommend visiting them on Seneca Lake. If you are visiting Eastview Mall, please join us at Rooted Wine Bar in the Von Maur wing, where we currently offer Miles's 2024 Oak Chardonnay, as well as over 20 wines from the Finger Lakes area.

Things you’ll find in a vineyard:
grapevines, trellis wire, cover crops, birds, bugs…

…and apparently little bags of Irish Spring soap because the deer have no respect for boundaries.

We’re giving this old-school deer deterrent another try as the vines push new tender growth. Farming is science, experience, problem-solving, and sometimes just standing in a vineyard saying, “Sure, let’s see if soap helps.”
