Blondie (aka Mrs. Kevin) has been laid to rest. Not all my chickens get a proper burial, but she was my first and favorite. She lived a very long life - almost 10 years! I am sure much better and hopefully happier than most chickens short lives. She survived hawk attack, wanted to be a momma (went broody often) and fed us many eggs. Support local farmers because we treat our animals well and they in turn treat us well. RIP Blondie!
