Amen! We are so lucky to live in tune with the Earth Mother and realize that we are infinitely connected with the Divine through the natural world. ❤️
Nature is often viewed as something outside of us—a world of forests, rivers, mountains, animals, plants, and soil. A place we visit when we want to escape the noise of everyday life.
But the truth is, we are nature.
We are not separate from the Earth; we are an expression of it. The minerals in our bones come from the ground. The water flowing through our bodies is the same water that moves through rivers, clouds, and rain. The oxygen filling our lungs comes from the plants and trees around us, while the carbon dioxide we exhale helps sustain them.
For thousands of generations, our ancestors lived with this understanding. They followed the seasons, gathered food and medicine from the land, watched the movements of animals, and depended upon clean water, fertile soil, sunlight, and one another for survival.
Modern life may make us feel removed from that relationship, but it hasn't disappeared.
We belong to nature because we are nature.
When we put our hands in the soil, walk barefoot through the grass, grow our own food, learn the plants around us, or simply sit quietly beneath an old tree, perhaps what we feel isn't just peace. It's recognition.
A remembering of something ancient within us—that the Earth isn't simply the place where we live. It is the system we are a part of.
The next time you step outside, take a hike or go to the beach, do not view it as you are going into nature.... View it as you are going home ♥️
Stay Wild ✌🏻
