HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!!!

As the child of a retired teacher, I have witnessed on many occasions my mother spend her own money to help her students with snacks, supplies, and other daily essentials because their families struggled to afford them. I know this is still a problem today for many families. So, after being blessed with the opportunity to have a platform and venue to do more for our community, my friend Michelle Hill, and I sat down one day to discuss how we could help to not only bring the community together, but to give a hand up to those struggling in our community.

God has put it on our hearts to start a charity that will give back to the children and families of the Crossroads community year round. Every year there are some great companies that do Back to School supply drives, and I know that there are still families that are struggling to send their children to school with their needed supplies. Our first event is August 3rd for our 1st annual Kickin' It Back 2 school kickball tournament and backpack drive! We are starting to gather supplies and vendors for the event, but we are needing volunteers to help to collect donations and to assist with activities during the event. Anyone interested in volunteering please reach our to Michelle or to me directly! We would really appreciate any help and support!!!
