Welcome, rain. We’ve needed you so badly and you stayed away for so long that it’s started to make me really worry.

We take the water you provide for granted, wasting you on things like lawns which do the environment no good at all, and running you mindlessly when we brush teeth and do dishes.

And did you know when it rains is the best day to run your errands? All the crowds stay away so you can get the clutch parking spaces!

Sure, it can be inconvenient and who doesn’t love a sunny day, but all we have to do is shift a little, adjust clothing, and we’ll be OK.

We learn something new almost every day. Someone came in yesterday in need of gluten-free shampoo. Well, the beauty of being a small business who knows our vendors is that we were able to get them on the phone quickly and we learned that in fact all of the shampoos we carry are gluten-free. In addition to having fantastic salon results without any of the plastic and chemical nasties, the shampoos are safe for people with all sorts of health issues as well.

May is month, and so all this week we are serving at Trace!

If you haven’t tried them, it’s like biting into a cloud. We love the packaging, everything comes in craft boxes or plain brown paper that is easily compostable. Thank you, and .entrepreneur for this intentional extra step.
