EASY GALBI MARINADE 🥩🇰🇷

The nutribullet is a lifesaver to make easy marinades, but it will make your sauce a little thicker than the authentic recipe (which I’m totally fine with)

Ingredients:
- short rib
- soy sauce
- sugar (brown or regular)
- honey
- Asian pear
- sweet onion
- garlic
- ginger
- mirin
- sesame oil
- black pepper
- scallions

Homemade Korean Galbi (갈비) 🇰🇷🥩

Ingredients (for 4 lbs of beef):

🥩 4 lbs boneless beef chuck short ribs

For the marinade:

* ¾ cup soy sauce
* ⅓ cup brown sugar
* 2 tbsp honey
* ½ large Asian pear
* ½ medium yellow onion
* 10 cloves garlic
* 1 tsp grated ginger
* ¼ cup mirin (or Korean cooking w**e)
* 3 tbsp sesame oil
* 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
* 1 tsp black pepper
* ½ cup water
* 4 stalks scallions, chopped

Instructions:

1. Thinly slice beef (⅛–¼ inch) against the grain.
2. Blend the Asian pear, onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, mirin, and water until smooth.
3. Mix in sesame oil, sesame seeds, black pepper, and chopped scallions.
4. Coat the beef thoroughly and refrigerate for 4–12 hours, or portion into freezer bags and freeze immediately for later.
5. Grill over medium-high heat until beautifully caramelized and cooked through.

Arena Bar & Eats will debut as a dining/hangout experience at the Capital One Arena on October 17th. It will be open to all ticket holders and will be feature menu items inspired by restaurants like: Good Stuff Eatery, Santa Rosa Taqueria, and more

We got to try some of the new food items that arrived to the arena featuring local icons like: Joia Burger, Soko Butcher, Pat Lafrieda, Balos, and more.

Capital One Arena is officially in its glowup era ✨💅

The broth always hits here and the coffee is so so so good (try their Vietnamese coffee with the coffee jelly, it’s fireeee). Its also right off the metro so it’s super convenient to get to 🚊

A few reasons why we bought it:
- you only need to change the filter 2x a year
- takes out a LOT of contaminants in water
