We will be baking 2-3 days a week with deliveries twice a week, at the end of the week. Between her kids, BF and herself, they will deliver locally to Vienna, McLean, Arlington, Falls Church and other nearby locales and will have pick up as well. She will be baking to start with 2-3 days a week with deliveries twice a week, at the end of the week! Today, in Maddie’s Kitchen, the focaccia bread is baked in our oven-- and nothing about it is plain! Like bread from our ancestors, it is made with flour, salt, olive oil, water, and yeast. However, from there, our bread becomes unique with many types of toppings and special ingredients rolled right into the dough. We will have the traditional rosemary, with sea salt on top to a more robust pepperoni (chunks rolled into the dough) with grated parmesan cheese added on top as soon as it comes from the oven. We will be baking three types of focaccia a week – typically, two savory and one sweet. I will post every week, on Monday morning what type breads will be baked that week and the bread will be ready for pick up or delivery on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Special requests accepted, particularly if multiple loaves ordered. The best part of the bread, besides the taste is it freezes perfectly with defrosting and reheating instruction on every package. We will have several sizes:
8” round for 2-3 people 8-10 oz
9” round for 4-5 people 12-14 oz
10” round for 5-7 people 20-22 oz
11” round for 8-10 – 22-24 oz
Actual weights are variable and may be higher or lower depending on toppings.
