If you ever wanted to know why we get involved….this young man is why. His family lost him when he was 13 and hasn’t stopped advocating for other children. So that they can have a better fighting chance. We come together every September to wage our war against cancer. Help support Cal’s Angels with us!!!

Twenty years ago today, on August 28, 2006, we lost Cal to acute myelogenous leukemia. He was 13.

Losing Cal changed everything. He is why Cal’s Angels exists. We turned that grief into a promise: that no other family would face pediatric cancer alone. Twenty years later, that promise still drives everything we do.

Cal got thirteen years. We’ve spent twenty missing him and building what he never had: more support for families, more research, and more treatment options for kids fighting cancer. Today, that includes the Cal’s Angels Advanced Leukemia Clinical and Research Program at Lurie Children’s Hospital, launched through a $4 million commitment from Cal’s Angels. That program did not exist when Cal needed it. Now it does. That's Cal’s legacy.

We carry him in every wish granted, every dollar invested in research, and every family we stand beside.

🚗 What you’ll need:
• Valid driver’s license
• Current auto insurance
• Good driving record
• A reliable way to get those pizzas where they need to go! 🍕💨
⏰ Hours can be flexible, but we definitely need SATURDAY & SUNDAY availability. Football weekends = pizza weekends, and we need our driver squad ready! 🏈🍕

🇺🇸🍕 FROM FRONT OF HOUSE TO THE U.S. ARMY 🍕🇺🇸
After years behind the counter at Dominick’s, it’s time for us to say goodbye to Jack as he heads off to begin an incredible new chapter with the United States Army. 🪖🇺🇸
Jack has been one of those familiar faces our customers have come to know — taking orders, cashing people out, answering questions, surviving crazy Friday nights, and dealing with all of us along the way. 😂🍕
When someone works with you for five plus years, especially in a family business, they become more than just an employee. They truly become part of the family.
Jack, we’ve watched you grow up, and while we're definitely not ready to lose you, we couldn't be prouder of where you're headed. ❤️
Thank you for your hard work, laughs, memories, and being part of the Dominick’s family.
Now it’s time to trade the register for combat boots. 🫡
We wish you strength, success and safe travels as you start this next adventure.
