Let’s Keep it Secret! Seriously…! This fruity and refreshing sparkler is too good to share! 🤭In a tall glass, add a few cubes of ice. 2 oz sparkling coconut water, 3/4 oz pineapple juice, 3/4 oz lime juice, 1 oz Cointreau and a dash of bitters. Stir and enjoy!

Monday Wine review from our friend

WHAT’S THE MATTER BUCKY? HAVE THE PRICES OF BORDEAUX WINES GOT YOU DOWN? This post is not for the well-heeled aficionados that buy futures of 1st growth Bordeaux but for regular folk. This red comes from the SOUTH of France. It is 40% Carignan, 30% Grenache, and 30% Syrah – OK, not representative of a Bordeaux blend. But these are genuinely “old vines” from the Minervois AOC and something I enjoyed for just $13.49 from . The wine is refined but has a rustic quality that I sometimes find myself craving. The 2020 is round and fruity. It pleases all the senses with its deep purple color, savory aromatics, dense fruit, and a powerful lingering finish with a cornucopia of berries, violets, ripe plum, pepper, and garrigue. Pairs best with hearty, flavorful dishes such as roasted lamb, venison, braised beef, and rich stews (fall will be is approaching - take note). But you can enjoy it too with hamburgers or even a meat-lovers pizza. Don’t let an unfamiliar label scare you off. Keep experimenting.
