As I sit here on the night before our first week of Summer Camp begins, I can’t help but be amazed at where we started and where the Lord has brought us.

This summer marks our 5th year of Farm Camp, and it’s incredible to look back and see how much it has grown. The Lord has been so gracious to us. We have children signed up this year who are attending their 5th summer of camp with us, and it has been such an honor to watch them grow over the years. I’m also so excited to welcome all of our new campers this summer!

Each year camp has grown, and that is something I never want to take for granted. If it weren’t for this community, I wouldn’t have the opportunity to share my love for the farm and agriculture with so many children. I feel incredibly blessed every day to do what I love and what I believe God has called me to do.

As we begin another summer, I have one simple request: would you join me in praying for every child who walks through our gates? My prayer is that they have an amazing week, learn about agriculture, make wonderful memories, and most importantly, leave knowing that they are deeply loved by the same God who created every animal, every field, and every one of them. I pray they come to know that He desires a relationship with them and cares for them more than they can imagine.

Thank you for supporting us, praying for us, and allowing us to be a small part of so many childhood memories. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for this summer.

Now enjoy a few photos from the past five years of Farm Camp. Some of these little campers aren’t so little anymore, and that is both amazing and a little hard to believe.

Today is about so much more than cookouts, long weekends, and time with family. 🇺🇸

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country. Because of their sacrifice, we have the freedoms we often take for granted every single day.

No amount of gratitude will ever truly be enough for those who paid the ultimate price and for the families who continue carrying that sacrifice long after the uniforms are folded away.

Today we remember them. We honor them. And we thank them. May we never forget the cost of the freedoms we enjoy every single day. ❤️🤍💙

Happy Birthday to the woman who tries her best to keep all of us in line. The one who’s probably ready to pull her hair out dealing with Dad and I on a daily basis. Honestly, Emily may be Mom’s only saving grace… although she can stress Mom out just as good as the rest of us sometimes.

Mom does so much behind the scenes that people never see. She’s our hayride driver, problem solver, organizer, and somehow always the first one ready to jump in and help whenever I need her. I may not be the best when it comes to organization, but somehow Mom just knows exactly when I’m in over my head. Especially when I call her on a random Tuesday because I forgot about an engagement and suddenly need help pulling everything together.

She selflessly takes care of all of us, puts her family before herself, and works herself to the bone to make sure everything gets done. Help me wish the best mom in the world a very Happy Birthday!! ♥️

Last night I caught myself just watching all the mama goats with their babies curled up beside them. The little babies were all cuddled up right next to their momma like that’s the safest place in the whole world and honestly it just made me stop and think about how important moms truly are to all of us.

There’s something so sweet about seeing motherhood out on the farm. The way moms protect, provide, comfort, and love their babies so naturally is such a beautiful reminder of the love so many of us have been blessed to experience in our own lives.

Today we celebrate all the moms, the ones raising babies, grown kids, grandbabies, fur babies, and everything in between. Y’all are the glue that holds so much together, and the love you pour into others matters more than you probably even realize.

I’m especially thankful today for my own mom and the example she’s always been to me. She’s hardworking, loving, supportive, and has always encouraged me to chase my dreams even when they seem a little crazy!! I’m so thankful for all the lessons she’s taught me and for always being someone I can count on!♥️

Also can’t forget my sister. She is raising some of my very favorite kiddos and built in farm hands! She has tackled motherhood guns a blazing just like she does everything else she puts her mind to, and I’m proud of the mom she is!

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us here at Powers Family Farm!

What a special day ♥️

We were so honored to welcome the Whitesburg Public Library’s Chat & Chew Senior Lunch group out to the farm this month! Getting to spend the afternoon visiting, sharing about our farm, introducing everyone to the animals, and simply slowing down to enjoy good company was such a blessing.

But the highlight of the day was getting to celebrate Ms. Imogene’s 101st birthday with everyone!! 🎉 What an incredible milestone and such a joy to be a tiny part of such a special celebration. We loved seeing the smiles, hearing the stories, and watching everyone enjoy time out on the farm.

Thank you again to the Whitesburg Public Library and everyone who came out to spend the day with us. ♥️

We are already getting SO many questions about Farm Camp, so I wanted to answer a few and show you why this is something your kids don’t want to miss this summer 👇

•What will my child actually be doing?
Not sitting inside, I can promise you that🤣🤣
Your kids will be feeding animals, learning how a real farm runs, doing hands-on activities, making crafts, and getting dirty in the best way possible. Every single day is interactive and different!

•What makes this camp different from others?
This isn’t just a “theme” it’s a REAL working farm.
Your child won’t just learn about agriculture… they’ll experience it firsthand. From cows to goats to all the behind-the-scenes moments, this is something they’ll remember forever.

•My child has never been around animals… is that okay?
Perfectly okay and honestly, that’s my favorite♥️
We LOVE watching kids go from a little unsure to completely confident by the end of the week.

•Will they be outside the whole time?
YES and that’s one of the best parts.
We do take breaks and have shaded areas, but this is a true outdoor, unplugged experience that most kids don’t get enough of anymore.

•Why do parents love our camp?
Because their kids come home excited, confident, and talking nonstop about what they learned and did that day.
And because they got off screens and experienced something real.

•Camp Dates:
June 1–5
June 8–12
June 15–19
June 22–26
June 29–July 3
July 6–10
July 13–17
July 20–24

Time: 9AM–1PM
Cost: $185 per child (sibling discount available!)

Yall I have really dropped the ball on getting the word out about Farm Camp this year!!!

If you’ve got a kid that loves being outside, getting a little dirty, and learning where their food comes from… this is for them. Farm camp is one of my absolute favorite things we do here because it’s all about hands-on learning and real farm life.

We’ll be feeding animals, learning about cows, playing in the dirt, making memories, and soaking up all the best parts of summer on the farm. And this year is going to be even more special—we’ve partnered with some awesome folks around the county to bring in NEW experiences for the kids!!
