Some fun backstory on this sponsorship:

Have you ever wanted to buy a horse just for its name? Well when Grady, the owner/ founder of Signal Mine, heard there was a horse named Nintendo Gameboy in the barn, that was exactly his first thought! He messaged me and asked if he could buy Pac Man for his wife ( he secretly wanted a horse with such a techy name). I politely let him know pac man was not going to be cut out for endurance racing (his wife’s discipline of choice), but that he could stay more involved in his development if he wanted to sponsor him, as I was planning to purchase him! Grady was very excited and agreed this was a fun idea, and here we are! I am so looking forward to pac man’s first rated show this weekend!

It’s official!! PSE has moved to our new location on basset road!

A very deep thank you to Laura Ivan for opening her home to us, and for all the expansions and improvements. Your beautiful barn feels like home, and PSE is very privileged to be here!

We will be hosting clinics (Jamie Lawrence-Slocum here this weekend!), haul in lessons, and more bit/bridle fittings with B-Fit!

Friday: yucky
Saturday: only sorta yucky
Sunday: did the damn thing!

Elliot and I had our first show together, and this horse has been a journey. I am learning so much about my own confidence and abilities and just trusting the process. We ended strong and got through 3-1 with only a couple what we are calling “teenage emo phase” moments. My goal is for this horse to ENJOY showing, because that’s when he’s going to shine his best.

Thank you to his owner Laura Ivan for being the most supportive member of this team, and for being the best eyes on the ground all weekend. I appreciate you more than you know 💜

Also thank you to slads for having shows that allow the process to happen and for having great and patient judges!
