Breeder of Sport Horses and Ponies Thank you for your interest in Maefield Farm. We are a sport horse breeding farm located 45 mi. southwest of Saint Louis MO.

Mares from top warmblood pedigrees are the foundation of our breeding program. We select stallions with proven performance and offspring that complement each mare’s conformation, character, and athletic ability. We also breed hunter ponies based on the Caspian Horse, a rare and athletic breed with an ancient history. We take pride in the high level of care given to our mares and young stock, including the gradual starting methods and consistent handling of youngsters to produce calm and willing performance horses and ponies. Our goal is to provide top quality mounts with the mind and athletic ability to achieve your dreams. Veterinarians Mary and Tom Ellenberger have been breeding horses and ponies since 2008. They are involved in all aspects of the care and upbringing of Maefield’s horses and ponies, in partnership with a team of professional horse trainers and equine veterinarians. We have foals and young stock started under saddle for sale, and experienced hunter ponies for sale or lease. PM us or call 314-330-0726 to schedule a visit.

2025 Jumper C**t Vander Ijs M ("Ice")

This Top Ten KWPN-NA c**t from 2025 has loads of potential. Sire Iceman de Muze (Erco Van T Roosakker - For Pleasure) brings stellar jumping creds with a double-dose of Darco. Dam Imalottie SPF ster PROK (Zavall - Goodtimes) has a lineage that produces both jumper and eventing stars.

Ice is a well-mannered c**t with powerful movement and superior intelligence. His trot is full of expression with natural cadence and suspension. Combining that trot with his inherent balance in canter, he is going to be a superior athlete with the ability to excel in many disciplines. Ice is curious and sweet. He enjoys training and is always up for taking on new challenges and learning new skills.

It's wonderful to see Maefield babies growing up and entering their careers. Divinely Dupre M (Dubarry - Hanoverian Stallion - Depardieu - Wolkenstein II) was high point Hanoverian at the recent Centerline Dressage Classic in Illinois. A judge told his owner Caroline A. Morgan that "Vinny" has FEI potential. And we have Vinny's 2025 full sister, Divanarry M, available. "Diva" is a tall, elegant, and composed filly who is ready to follow her big brother's trajectory.

First outing for our Iceman de Muze filly. Her sire brings a double dose of Darco into the mix. The pedigree of dam Katniss SPF (Van Gogh - Numero Uno) includes the iconic sires Nimmerdor, Indoctro, Berstein, and Libero. This freckled filly is born to jump.

Just unwrapped my birthday present and it fits perfectly. A filly by Iceman de Muze out of our Van Gogh mare, Katniss SPF.

Look who showed up in our barn last night! Mare Dulcinea GKF (Depardieu-Wolkenstein II) certainly stamped her Denmark HTF filly.

What a stellar dressage debut for Divinely Dupre M (top photo) at North 40 Classic in Lake St. Louis! This handsome Maefield-bred 4-yo garnered scores of 74% and 75.8% in Materiale and Training 3. Wonderful to see "Vinny" flourishing with his great owner, Caroline Morgan.

Bottom left photo is "Vinny" from his 2022 Hanoverian inspection, and to the right is his 2025 full sister Divanarry M ("Diva"). The two Dubarry--Depardieu siblings have great careers ahead of them. Diva is available from Maefield Farm. See details at: https://warmblood-sales.com/horse/divanarry-m-2025-filly-dubarry

"Ice" is hot! His exceptional conformation and movement earned our 2025 KWPN-NA c**t, Vander Ijs M, a Top 10 award.

His sire, Iceman de Muze, carries a double-dose of the phenomenal Darco and boasts a high-performance damline.

From his dam, Imalottie SPF, our yearling c**t "Ice" has inherited keen intelligence as well as athleticism. Eventers, take note of the success of damsire Zavall VDL as an eventing sire.

Maefield Farm's "Ice" is ready to melt your heart with his lovable nature and will knock your socks off with his talent. See more info at: https://warmblood-sales.com/horse/vander-ijs-m-2025-iceman-de-muze-zavall-vdl-goodtimes

Our handsome 2023 KWPN-NA c**t, Transcendent M ("Denny") left for his new home in Florida this morning. We've been with Denny from breeding to birth to his development of an impressive frame and muscling. We are pleased with the product of this pedigree (Imothep - Zavall VDL - Goodtimes) and were a bit surprised by Denny's 17 h size. But he carries it well, and with the best of temperaments. Thanks to our trainer, Hope Saldana, for her part in giving Denny a great start. And we wish Denny's buyer great success with our wonderful red Maefield boy.
