The signs I am seeing point to a colder or more snowy or longer winter. Now I am not an expert. But studying the animals and plants this year, it is pointing me in the direction to believe this. I have asked other farmers what they think and what they are experiencing. What are y'all seeing?

The persimmon seed report is here! Spoons this time, plenty of snow on the way? ❄️

It is believed that spoons indicate a winter with plenty of snow.

While I can’t guarantee this will happen, El Niño should offer up some potential for snow here in Arkansas this winter.

Are the persimmon seeds really trying to tell us something? 🧐

I saw a post recently about Noah and the ark. About how God himself sealed Noah, his family and animals in the ark to keep them safe. Yesterday I asked God to seal us and our animals up during that storm. You have to understand all the circumstances but none of the animals were injured or killed. When it finally was safe enough for us to check on them, I went outside to find a mama hen with all 12 chicks, dry!, alive!, and chirping. Not one animal was missing, dead, or injured. Again you have to understand all the circumstances to know this was nothing short of a miracle. Those chicks are very young and so delicate; I expected to have lost them. Y'all they were dry! The fact the hen was able to cover them in the force of that storm is amazing. God sealed us and all the animals up! God is always listening, Jesus is always interceding, He is always there, always ready, always willing. Just ask Him and be ready to thank Him for what He is about to do!♡♡♡♡♡

It's that time of the year again to make your chicken bug spray. Bull gnats can suffocate chickens by blocking their air passage way. This is a bottle I got from the dollar store. It's a mixture of vanilla and water. The bugs do not like it. Just spray a little on the chickens to keep them away.
