🍂🌱🍃🍁As the Seasons change you will notice your allergies kicking in. I paired up 2 of my favorite herbs to help combat that Seasonal Allergy flair up. Mullein Leaf and Goldenrod Tea. I have a few bags left. These are grown, harvested and dried right here on the Farm with no worries about pesticides. 🙌🏻
Add 1-2 tsp to about 8 oz of hot water and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes. Make sure you strain it through a coffee filter or cotton tea towel so the Mullen hairs don’t irritate your throat. Add some local 🍯🐝 honey in and give it a stir.
5x8 bag filled with 1 oz of goodness all in one bag. $8
🌿 Mullein leaf — traditionally used to soothe the respiratory tract, especially when seasonal changes bring throat irritation, coughing, or mucus. The tiny hairs on the leaves can irritate the throat, so sifting the finished tea very well is important.
* 🌼 Goldenrod — traditionally used for seasonal respiratory comfort and as a mild diuretic, supporting normal urinary/fluid elimination. Importantly, goldenrod is often blamed for hay fever, but ragweed is a much more common culprit because goldenrod blooms at the same time and has conspicuous yellow flowers.
* 🍃 Together — they make a nice seasonal respiratory-support tea, particularly as the weather changes and people experience throat irritation, cough, or that generally “congested” feeling.
