I will be at the Hillcrest Farmers Market for a brief time tomorrow morning with lovely zinnia bouquets, striped tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes!

Like most of the produce vendors this summer, I will be ready to sell at 7:30.

Everything I’m bringing is super popular so I expect to be sold out by about 8:30, and hope to be heading to a swim meet.

Please pick up pre-orders before 8:30.

Y’all.

My favorite tomatoes of the year are ready right now!

These beautiful striped tomatoes are a hybrid off of the Striped German heirloom tomato. They the sweetest and most flavorful large tomatoes I’ve ever eaten. They are not super acidic which helps for people like me who want all the tomatoes but can’t handle all the acid. If you want high acid, these are not the tomatoes for you.

Beyond how they taste is how lovely they are! 😍

I won’t have them long. I use no insecticides or fungicides so my plants tend to have a much shorter lifespan.

But I have them from the farm right now (and I’ll be in Conway every evening this week) and hopefully at Hillcrest this weekend.

With every other farm vehicle being in use or in the shop, I turned Milan’s little Subaru into a farm car for flower harvest this morning!

We chose this car in part for the extra clearance (farm driveways = IYKYK). That clearance came in handy this morning as I drove it right up into the flower field.

Luckily, Milan just smiled as he mowed on past me. 🫣

Join me again for Friday Night Flowers!

We’ll be making bouquets this Friday, June 19th, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at our farm between Vilonia and El Paso.

Bring a friend or two and hang out with us cutting the most incredible zinnias and snapdragons.

Here’s how it will work…you fill a wide mouth mason jar with your favorite flowers. I’ll provide a jar to cut into, you provide a vessel to transport your flowers home. I’ll provide cutting tools.

Unless we get a ton of rain between now and Friday, you’ll be fine wearing tennis shoes. We will be harvesting in the shade!

This week, everyone that attends will also leave with a bag of our super sweet Sungold cherry tomatoes! 😍🍅

If it rains the evening of the event, I’ll have bouquets and tomatoes available for you to pick up from the farm at your convenience anytime on Sunday.

Tickets are $25. Everyone that attends must have a ticket. I’ll limit this to the first 20 people that sign up.
