At Kinetico Water Systems of Vincennes, we’re closely monitoring the boil order in our county due to possible E. coli contamination. Many of you have asked if reverse osmosis systems can remove these bacteria. In the short term, RO units can filter some microbiologicals, but we want to be clear that we’re not confirming the water is safe to drink during this order. If you choose to use your RO system, we strongly advise a thorough filter change and sanitization once the boil order is lifted. Please stay safe and reach out with any questions.

With the current boil order in Knox County, we want you to know our three and five gallon jugs are completely safe. We use city water but treat it with one-micron filtration, reverse osmosis, plus ozonation, which meets FDA standards for bottled water even during advisories. No need to boil ours — it's ready to drink.
