Our version of “Elf on a Shelf.” We have a little Christmas village and also got a Harry Potter Lego advent calendar. What started out as a joke turned into a daily evolving scene. I often come out and find the pieces have “mysteriously” moved.

Yesterday we tested our potion making skills 💕. We had so much fun. It was a lot of work but we got to celebrate my nephew’s birthday and watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I think I’ve perfected the Exploding Bon Bons, Fizzing Whizbees, and Peppermint Toads. (Swipe right). We’ve also pretty much nailed Butterbeer. Oh and the Cauldron Cakes. 🤤. So yummy. We tried our hand at Love potion, Felix Felicis, Veritaserum, and our favorite, Polyjuice potion dip. Life can feel heavy at times, but it’s nice to sometimes take a step back and just have fun.
