The one and only Awesome Amazon getting some well deserved recognition!

This magnificent steer is named Awesome Amazon and is a cross between Texas Longhorn and Watusi. The breeders are Bill and Connie Courtney and owned by Farbro Farms Exotics & Minis. His horn span currently measures 11 feet and 3.5 inches from tip to tip and his bases measure 30” in circumference.

We have been adding a new creature to the farm over the last year. Silkie chickens are our new mini addition. We have multiple colors but our current focus is black, blue, chocolate and mauve mottled. Some other color varieties that we have are black, blue, buff, white, splash lavender and chocolate.

Hi ho hi ho to the vet we go… note that’s not a regular prolapse those are the calf’s intestines. The cow presented normal signs of a full term pregnancy and tried to calve but the calf was literally inside out.

We recently measured Awesome Amazon and he truly exceeded our expectations coming in at 135.5” TTT and 30” and 30.25” bases. He’s a true giant and what a privilege it is to own him.
