Well… this is a post we really hoped we’d never have to make. 😔

We’ve been closed recently between traveling and the busyness of life, but our firewood stand remains outside and easily accessible. Each section is clearly marked with a price! Unfortunately, someone recently helped themselves to firewood from multiple different sections of the stand without paying.

While The Little Market itself may be closed, the items outside are not free for the taking. We’ve always loved being able to operate parts of our little roadside market on the honor system and trust that people will do the right thing.

We’ll be adding additional camera coverage and taking a few extra precautions going forward. We hate that it’s necessary, but we work hard to provide these products and have to protect our little business.

If this was somehow an honest misunderstanding, we’re happy to give whoever it was the opportunity to come back and make it right—no questions asked. 🤎

And to the overwhelming majority of our customers who are honest, supportive, and continue to support our family and The Little Market: thank you. We appreciate you more than you know.
