The Classic Cooking Grill business was formed in the 1980’s by Cecil Hotz. Being at the right place at the right time, Hy-Vee Foods sparked an interest in the grill and wanted Cecil to make them a BBQ grill for their catering services. Since then, Classic Cooking Grills (CCG) has expanded drastically. We now h

ave multiple grills at all Hy-Vee food stores across the mid-west, and have expanded to local beef and pork producers throughout the state of Iowa. We even have a few of our grills throughout local high school booster clubs and fire departments. Our grills now obtain the capability to smoke meat as well as using charcoal. CCG just began to create stand-alone drum smokers and is expanding the production on these daily.
