This Spring, on a school trip with our daughter, we visited Arlington National Cemetery, the Holocaust Museum in DC, Gettysburg and the battles fought in farm fields, and various war memorials. Never have the sacrifices been so real. Today, we remember together.

The season of planting, growing, birthing, and longer days has set in. It’s a whirlwind. We want to give you more options to stop by our farm-store. So, one night a week we plan to be open in the evening, and we’ll also have Saturday and Sunday hours most every week. This week’s evening market is Wed 4-7. It’s Grandparents Alva and Gertrude’s Wedding Anniversary today. They wed April 16, 1930. Alva was born and raised on this farm. They farmed here together until 1968 when he was killed in a farm accident. Picture taken in front of the farmhouse.
