After taking a little maternity leave, I’m excited to start getting back into the quail side of things! 💙

I’ll be offering adult Coturnix quail, chicks hatched to order, AND made-to-order pickled quail eggs! 🥚✨

Sometimes you’re reminded just how quickly things can change. During the storm, half of this tree came down and by some miracle, the only thing damaged was my wheelbarrow. Somehow, this tree missed the house, the hutch, and the aviary. Even my husband’s truck came through unscathed despite a large branch falling directly onto it.

Looking at the damage, I’m incredibly grateful for how much worse this could have been. My heart goes out to the birds that were in the hutch (I’ve moved them to the aviary for the time being while my husband removes the branch) I can only imagine how frightening it must have been when half of this tree came crashing down around them.

We were very lucky this time.

Excited to finally share my small group of progressive pied quail that have finally feathered out beautifully and should start laying within the next few weeks! These guys are from Thieving Otter Farm hatching eggs, and I have another group of jumbo progressive pied that will be moving from the brooder box to the grand outdoors soon and those are from Guidroz Family Farm (pictures of that group to come!!)

🥚 I do not ship birds or eggs at this time, as I do not hold NPIP certification
🥚 All sales are pay upon pickup only
🥚 I do not request deposits, except previously for incubating eggs (a service that is discontinued for the remainder of this year)

If anyone contacts you claiming otherwise under my name, please know it is not legitimate.

Hello my lovely feathered friends! 🐣

As of today, I will no longer be selling chicks for the remainder of the year. With the upcoming arrival of our second baby (possibly a little sooner than expected!) and some time constraints preparing for that transition, I’m not able to continue incubating and hatching chicks right now.

I will still have eggs available for both eating and hatching, so feel free to reach out if you need any! 🥚

I recently received my jumbo progressive pied eggs from Guidroz Family Farm and I cannot recommend them enough just on their packaging alone! I forgot to take a picture but not only did I receive 20 flawless and intact eggs but I also got a cute countertop egg storage holder! These eggs also must be truly jumbo because they are huge in comparison to the ones I get from my current birds, unfortunately I did lose 1 egg getting it out of the packaging and it cracked on me but that was my fault. I cannot wait to see how many hatch and add to my 5 progressive pied chicks from my previous hatch last week when old enough!
