A LITTLE CULINARY RANT! 🍽️👩🏾🍳
I work in the culinary field, and food is my passion. So let me ask you something: When you go somewhere, pay your hard-earned money for a meal, and that meal isn’t up to your expectations, do you complain, or do you just eat it anyway?
Well, I had that experience today. I ate the meal because I’m traveling, I was hungry, and I had a FOUR-HOUR FLIGHT ahead of me. I didn’t have time to play around with food.
But here’s where it gets interesting. I brought the issue to their attention, and they supposedly replaced my meal. Only, it looked like they took the same food, put it on another plate, and sent it right back out! 🤦🏾♀️
Listen, when you put a name on something and charge people their hard-earned money for it, the LEAST you can do is take pride in what you’re serving. If a customer tells you something is wrong with their meal, make it right. Don’t just change the plate and call it a replacement!
As someone who has a genuine passion for food and works in this industry, I know the difference between getting it right and simply going through the motions. (2 over medium eggs 2 pieces of bacon grits and biscuits) now I’m not going to put her name in this but you should be ashamed… I understand things happen and your in the BALTIMORE AIRPORT. but 🤦🏽♀️ 🤦🏽♀️…Now will I try you again absolutely.. but today
