Scenic and fun guided trailrides in Back Bay wildlife refuge where wild horses can frequently be spotted, horseback rides on the beach and even swimming with the horse for those who wish to and have enough riding experience to be safe and at ease. To the best of my ability/schedule trailrides will be arranged to group riders by their riding experience/skill level and comfort zone. HARD HATS/SAFETY
HELMETS ARE TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE MOUNTED. CERTIFIED HELMETS WILL BE PROVIDED.Each rider must sign a liability waiver as well. Easy-going and relaxing walking only rides will be available for those who have little or no riding experience or for families with younger children. Those who have more experience may enjoy a slightly faster pace and may want to try a swim. Advanced/experienced riders have the option of choosing a ride that allows for some cantering/loping or if comfortable and in control perhaps a nice gallup down the beach and more swimming. Riders will have a choice between a Western saddle or English and length of ride: (1 hour rides limited to walk only, beginner rides) 2 hours, 3 hours, half-day(includes small picnic lunch or snack), overnight rides(including lunch on 1st and 2nd day, dinner, breakfast, and tent camping). Overnight and possibly longer trips may not always be available due to scheduling and weather; however, I will do my best to try and accommodate. STILL WATERS EQUESTRIAN CENTER WAS JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED SO IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 3 WEEKS OR SO BEFORE IT IS READY FOR HORSES AND IT WILL BE FULL CARE PASTURE BOARD FOR $250 PER MONTH AS WE CONTINUE TO BUILD....it will be well worth the wait. 57 acres with wonderful grass growth and the room for several large pastures with areas in each pasture that are well sheltered, about 24 acres of wooded areas to trailride, and plans for two barns, an great cross-country course, dressage arena,riding ring and stadium jumps, round pens, are just a few of the things to come.
