Good morning and Happy Friday! Make sure stop by Weltons Seafood Market Virginia Beach this weekend on your way to and from the boardwalk art show! Good morning VB! We have just received this beautiful Pumpkin Swordfish from Ocean City,MD!

pumpkin swordfish is a rare swordfish with bright orange or reddish-orange meat caused by a diet rich in shrimp and krill.

Key Characteristics
Color by: Bright orange or pinkish-orange instead of the typical whitish-gray, caused by the carotenoid pigment astaxanthin from crustaceans.

Rarity: Estimated at about 1 in every 3,000 swordfish, and fishermen only discover it after cutting open the fish.

Flavor and Texture: Sweeter, richer, and more buttery with a juicier, moister texture than regular swordfish due to a higher fat content

Good morning everyone. We have added a new flavor to our Bloody Mary lineup. Welcome sassy Mary from Ashburn. Made here in Va Beach, it is delicious. I heard if you mix the crabby Mary and the sassy together you get one hell of a Bloody Mary! Also we are fully stocked on everyone’s favorite snacks, Commonwealth crackers!
