Yesterday, I was completely surprised with a visit from a classmate and high-school friend whom I have not seen in 40 years. Terry Shold, a fellow Bronco from International Falls, stopped in while he was in town. It just blew me away. Had been thinking about him over the last few weeks, wondering if he was still in Minnesota. He and his wife live only an hour away.
It was a short but very good visit. Even got to say “Hi” to his Dad.

While I was out taking care of a few things, our employees apparently installed a lower level and an elevator.

Tonight, my son, Peter, and I went to see Trace Bundy perform at Chisholm Baptist Church. I knew Trace was good on the guitar, but it blew me away. His playing is incredible and his creativity is amazing. He’s also very, very personable and took time to visit and let us snap a couple pictures afterward. I picked up one of each of his CDs plus a vinyl of one of them. Also, he plays McPherson Guitars and it turns out that we both know Matt McPherson. Trace actually grew up in Matt‘s hometown of Austin, Minnesota. A very small and sometimes a very cool world.

Yesterday, at 2:00 PM, Dorothy and Cole were married! A walk that I will remember always as I gave my daughter Dorothy, my oldest, to a young Christian man to become his wife. The expressions on their faces tell of an incredible adventure ahead with lots of laughter and love.
Now, they’re on their way to Florida - their 2nd step in their big adventure together!
