Beef is in the news, again...I will share some thoughts on that later!
But a quick reminder, we have 2 beef available this Fall, whole, half or quarter, then not again until Summer 2027!

Where's the (grassfed) BEEF?!!
It's coming to a market near you, in time for grilling some burgers or steaks for your 4th of July gathering!
We expect it to go FAST.
The last beef was mostly sold-out before we brought it home from the butcher.
We're making bundles, so please let me know if you want more info!
This summer beef is 100% grassfed and grass finished, raised organically, on our farm from birth to harvest. Dry aged for 21 days, vacuum sealed and frozen at a local USDA shop.
(Did you know we raise the momma cows? So it's a slow, 3 year process to having beef on the plate, "slow foods" indeed!)

So being a farmer involves long hours, multitasking, being productive, honing skills, being creative, ready to pivot, obsessed with quality, delivering customer satisfaction and a whole lot of faith!
Not at all unlike the restaurant business!

Chef/owner Dan Fox welcomed us in to Heritage Tavern years ago to supply flowers, fruit and occasionally lamb.
Anyone who has been there knows that the food and flavors are top notch!
Great menu & craft cocktails, but also a warm, inviting atmosphere with friendly staff!

Last night, after a long day, as I was delivering the weekly flowers, I was greeted so warmly by everyone, from the hostess, Sampson the manager, to chef Dylan and other staff.

Thank you for all you do!

BTW, if you've never had their deviled eggs, you must!
I take mine to go for the ride back to the farm, although truth be told, they don't make it past the city limits!
