Piggy packets:
In addition to their livestock pellets all the piggies get fresh fruits and vegetables everyday. To make that easier I prep them two weeks ahead some go in the freezer, some in the fridge.
No doubt these Piggies eat healthier than I do.

Pete and Petunia just keeping growing, getting funnier and more independent
The chickies are growing into big girl hens and enjoying their branch roosting bars
Spring has sprung, water lillies are growing, wisteria is almost done...everything is waking up.

Round 2, Millie, in a sad heartbreaking day, culled some of our girls with her not so great, yet effective hunting skills. We still have big girls from the first batch and ALL are now safe from Millie the Chicken Killer.

Emergency last night!!
I lost power in the middle of the night. The baby chicks need constant heat to live 😩 I dashed out to see cold shivering babies all piled together 😔 I found a live outlet, ran an extention cord and got the heat on.
The girls are now warm, cosy and back to baby chick business 🐣🐤🐥
Now to fight with the home warranty company about service 🤬

Dusty the mini horse doesn't like apples! But the baby chicks took up the slack and between all 25 ate an entire apple in a matter of hours. Found my new leftovers spot I think!
