Went and visited an old friend today, Mr Socks! Socks' owner took us to see him at his retirement home. He sure is being spoiled! 🥰 It was so nice to see him doing so well! Thought I'd share the photos with you guys since most of our clients will remember this sweet guy!

Hey everyone!

We haven't been able to do lessons in quite a while due to all of the rain we have been getting bombarded with. Now, unfortunately even when it does dry out enough to ride we are announcing that we will be closed until further notice due to the Covid-19 situation.

We really miss seeing all of our wonderful clients and we hope that you are all staying safe, healthy and sane throughout all of this. We are thinking about you all and can't wait until we can start back up and see you all again.

Stay safe and take care of yourselves and of each other!

We will be offering Summer Horse Camp this year available to our current lesson clients! 😁

Horse Camp will be Tuesdays - Fridays and we will have multiple weeks available!

We will be teaching horse anatomy, ground training, basic horse care, parts of saddles and all about different types of tack equipment, how to feed horses and the different types of feed, basically everything about horses that we don't have time to teach during our regular weekly lesson times.

Again this will only be offered for our current lesson clients. Sign up sheets will be available starting this week!

This is Lena over at Quail Haven Farms. She is a rescue thoroughbred as well and came from the same place as Mila. This is Steve's 6th time working with her. She did not know how to be lunged on a line and was pulling him around the first day and now she is much more respectful! She is super smart and not as scared as Mila. Both are improving at their own pace and have come a long way!

Over at Quail Haven Farms working with Mila. Steve has been working with her for almost 3 months at 2-3 days per week. This rescue thoroughbred took a long time to even get a halter put on her because she was so afraid. Now she is improving every day and learning to trust Steve.

Our assistant Emma Virjee learning how to ride a youngster. This was her first time riding a young horse that is still pretty green. She did a great job!

Learning how to properly bridle a horse is a step a lot of folks miss...there is a finesse to it that most horse folks don't even think about but for a new horse person it is important to never skip this often overlooked step. So many horses end up with bridling issues or bitting issues. Some simple education on the human's part could bypass these problems. Prevention is much easier than fixing. Ride on!

Love these two! The husband and Dakota! This mustang has come a long way since he's been in training with us. From bolting and running off and not knowing how to be ridden to now doing everything like an old pro. Way to go Dakota! You rockin the hat too!
