Wow—what a great article, Brandon Hernández!
We’re beyond proud to have accomplished exactly what we set out to do: open and operate our own business for an incredibly fun and rewarding five years. The bonds we built, the friendships we forged, and the amazing events we created (and were lucky to be part of) will always be something we cherish.
While we were hopeful about the future of Five Suits, the news that it won’t be continuing is just part of the journey. Being a business owner comes with its fair share of challenges, but the rewards—and the growth that comes with overcoming adversity—far outweigh the tough moments.
On behalf of all of us, thank you to our friends, regulars, and extended Five Suits family who made this place their home away from home. Your support has meant the world.
As mentioned in the article, we’ve got two incredible events lined up for our final weekend—Friday and Saturday, July 25th & 26th—and we’re going out in style.
The Ultimate Curtain Call will feature the captivating Sword-Swallower, Krystal Kurio kicking things off, followed by our ever-popular Dueling Pianos show.
Then, The Final Curtain Call will bring the house down with Custard Pie—hands down the best Led Zeppelin tribute band we’ve ever seen. Tony Rivas is absolutely phenomenal.
Thanks again for the kind words and support.
And we’ll close with this:
Don’t cry for us, Argentina…
You never know what’s right around the corner.
A buyer was in line to take brewery to new heights, but that deal has fallen through, resulting in final days for much-loved Vista beer op.
