Lavender Hill Farm is a place where you can relax and enjoy your surroundings as you visit the alpacas. Feeding the alpacas hay while you learn all about them

is fun for people of all ages. You'll also get close to many chickens that reside on our farm. In our shop you'll find alpaca apparel made in Peru, yarn and roving from our animals, handmade soaps, local honey, and one of a kind pieces of art! You'll find a wide range of prices in the shop, from just a couple dollars on up. The barn is handicapped accessible and it is always free to visit!

Did you know that alpacas love to roll in the dust? Dust bathing is an important part of of an alpaca's day to day routine. It's how they naturally groom themselves, protect themselves from biting insects and external parasites, cool down on hot days, and it just plain feels good to get down a get a good scratch. Jazzy, here, is the most energetic "roller" in our herd. She will roll over and over several times in a row!

The lighting isn't the best, but the cuteness is over the top! Ambrosia loves her meals, that's for sure. Watch as she waits for me to close a door and a gate before I can put her bowl of grain down for her in her own space. All of the alpacas know the feeding routine and go to their space that they eat in everyday. They're smart!
