Kimmy turned 21 years old today! 🎉 This sweet girl has personality galore. She is one of the few girls who is almost always up for being handfed hay from visitors and she sometimes even lets people pet her! She's quite quirky and loves to stare at people with her big eyes. You can seriously get lost while looking into her eyes. 😍
Unfortunately, Kimmy choked while eating hay last weekend. She had an appointment to have her teeth checked for early next week, but she seemed a little under the weather yesterday morning and thankfully, the vet was able to see her yesterday afternoon instead. He confirmed that she did have a sharp point on one of her molars and was also missing a molar on the same side and this may have been what caused her to choke. She otherwise checked out ok, so the vet took some blood to be tested to see if it shows any sign of infection. Keep Kimmy in your thoughts as we hope nothing too serious is brewing. We'll be celebrating her birthday over the next four days while we're open!
