It’s been a challenging month on the farm. Fencing issues, lack of rain, and lack of time really got to us. But we took the time to just sit last night and be thankful for this beautiful patch of dirt we call Honey Hill Farm. We wish all our plans and dreams could happen over night. But, today we are thankful for our vision, our health, our family, and the opportunity to make this place whatever we want it to be. Thank you to all our supporters! God willin’ and the creek don’t rise, Honey Hill Farm will be doing great big things!

Hi! I’m Leslie Moore and my husband Josh and I are Monroe County natives who own a farm in Vonore.
My day job is a NEPA writer for an international environmental consulting firm, but my favorite job is managing our farm!
I spent many years in Wyoming working for BLM managing invasive species on public lands. I held my nation-wide pesticide applicator license for rangelands, aquatics, forests, and agriculture. I also contracted goats for vegetation treatments!
Now that I’m back home in East Tennessee, I want to offer my experience and expertise to private landowners to treat invasive plants and provide vegetation management plans that can be 100% chemical free or use an integrated approach that would include herbicide and grazing combinations.
I hold a BS in Environmental Science from Oregon Tech, I’m TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualified), and I have over 13 years of experience in soils and botany, specializing in invasive species. Message me for a free visit and quote for a management plan for your property!
