Granted, only one "ranked" team plays but COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK!!! Join us at our weekend wine-down where we'll have football back on the patio TV and we're here for it, even if we have to dodge a few raindrops throughout the day. Enjoy a tasting in our production tasting room for $15/pp featuring a new menu and souvenir glass included! Our food truck today is Braised & Glazed and (weather permitting) Kendell Stange will be playing the lawn or patio. We're here rain or shine serving flights, draft meads, mimosas, bloody marys, wine, and wine slushies on our patio bar and would love to help you wine-down the first full week of school craziness. Looks like our chance of rain dropped down and so did those temps! Come enjoy the last weekend wine-down before the kids go back to school (at least here in Charleston) and take advantage of tax free weekend with 10% off all clothing in the gift shop. As always, we will have our patio bar set up to serve your favorite beverages to enjoy on the lawn or book a tasting in our inside tasting room every hour on the hour. Let's kick this August thing off right with a weekend wine-down featuring food from Fed Up Truck LLC and live music from 1-4 on the lawn with our friend Joal Rush. We're here from 10-5 today offering $15 tastings every hour on the hour in our tasting/production room and wine/mead, draft meads, bloody marys, mimosas, and wine slushies at our patio bar. Everyone is welcome at Deep Water Vineyard, including the kiddos and leashed pups (with well-behaved parents, of course). Enjoy the day with us at Charleston's only vineyard, winery, and meadery.

We're making the best of the dog days of summer over here at Charleston's only vineyard/winery/meadery! Join us for our weekend wine-down from 10-5 today with live music from Chad Ligon on the lawn from 1-4 and Braised & Glazed will be our food truck. Enjoy the grounds and animals while sippin' on a wine slushie or take a break in the AC and learn about the wines in our $15/pp wine tasting every hour on the hour and take home a souvenir wine glass. As a reminder, to kick off today, we're having a little "Blessing of the Vines" ceremony at 11AM for anyone who wants to join us. From our first with Jim and Ann passing the reins to us, to our 11th this year; we love this day where we get to say thank you to our staff and patrons and ask for blessing and provision for the harvest and year to come. Rev. Canon Callie Walpole will join us again this year to lead the blessing, everyone is welcome! We are also wine-ding down the week with our Saturday festivities including wine, mead, bloody marys, mimosas, wine slushies, and draft meads at the patio bar, tastings every hour on the hour in our tasting room, live music from 1-4 on the lawn featuring The Linnerud's and WallyGyros serving delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Here's an idea...we have Charleston's only vineyard, winery, and meadery; why not spend the day with us? We're kid and dog friendly and offer a great selection of draft meads, bottled meads, sparkling/still/red/white/rosé wine, wine slushies, bloody mary's, and mimosas. Tastings are every hour on the hour - $15 for 6 rounds of wine and a souvenir glass or you can enjoy a flight, glass, or bottle on the patio or lawn. We have live music from Ian James from 1-4 and our food truck today is smash burgers from our pals Lib's Diner. Come check us out today from 10-5 at Deep Water Vineyard and Bears Bluff Meadery.

When the 90 degree days start too early, we've got a lovely temp controlled tasting room and plenty of shade to shield you from the rays. Ron Daniel is playing our weekend wine-down from 1-4 today on the lawn (sorry, no steel drum) and our food truck is Foxes Fried. Join us for a tasting every hour on the hour or a drink on the patio, I suggest one of our deliciously chilled wine slushies, a draft mead, or a crisp Sauvi-B on a day like today. Unfortunately, due to predicted strong thunderstorms, we have to cancel the outdoor portion of our event on Saturday, including the blessing, vendors, bouncy-house, and music. We're moving everything we can inside for those of you who still plan on joining us, there won't be an entrance fee - just a smaller party, inside! The blessing is rescheduled to one of our weekend wine-downs on June 27th at 11AM, so mark your calendars. We have never had to cancel a festival in our 10 years, and hope it never happens again; but needed to make the call on this one. We do hope you'll join us for our "indoor garden party" instead, from 10-5 Saturday May 30th.

To honor Mitchell, our mead master's birthday (he's got the day off to celebrate), we're highlighting all of the girls who put in the hard work for our mead, bees! It starts with 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey made in the lifetime of a honeybee, IN HER WHOLE LIFE. We add yeast and water to make the mead, and you enjoy it. Cheers to all of the bees' hard work, we owe it all to you. Come out and try some mead on this beautiful Weekend Wine-down. We'll have Lib's Diner as our food truck and live music from Thomas Champagne with Friends on the lawn from 1-4. Wine tastings, mead, draft mead, flights/glasses/bottles, slushies, bloody marys, mimosas - we have something for everyone today from 10-5 at our Weekend Wine-down!
