Latest job from today. Customer has a cistern for their water supply and I evaluated it for updates and improvements. Findings: the pressure tank was waterlogged, the chlorine pump wasn’t working, retention tank was outdated and full of sludge, there was no 1 micron filter installed for cyst and virus protection, and there was no reverse osmosis system for drinking water. We performed a 6 1/2 hour job removing the old equipment and adding a new pressure tank, new 120 gallon fiberglass retention tank, new carbon filter for chlorine removal, and (2) 1 micron filters plumbed parallel for high flow. The reverse osmosis system was added on, complete with a matching matte black faucet. The customer is up to date and up to code now. No job too big or too small. Before and after pics of a job from today. The old pic shows the well line sagging down towards the casing and about to break apart. We hoisted the pump up, installed a new well seal and secured it to the casing pipe. We Also installed a new, larger pressure tank with an iron and sulfur filter (AIO). Room is small but looks a lot better now. We were able to increase her average pressure by about 20PSI which is significant. Before and after pics of a whole house reverse osmosis system replacement today. Had to replace some old equipment, add on additional equipment. And redo most of the plumbing. Room looks 100% better mow. These types of systems are not practical in a lot of cases but are necessary when you have sodium intrusion in your well water. Along with heavy sodium, there is high sulfur in the water as well. Correct pretreatment is a must for one of these machines which is why I installed an AIO3 ozone generation system to remove iron and sulfur from the water prior to the RO system. We stayed until the 500 gallon holding tank was full and it shut off like it should. People mention to me all the time that they have a whole house RO system. If yours doesn’t look like this, then you just have a filter. As standard procedure, I’m going back next week at N/C to do a follow up inspection. whatever your water needs are. Latest job for my son and I involving an AIO filtration system and a demand softener. Other pic shows how an outside drain looks once installed. This allows the softener and filter to discharge into the storm drain instead of the septic tank. Which is code. This latest new construction job consists of an AIO3 iron filter with enhanced ozone generation, a digital twin demand softener, and a 5 stage reverse osmosis system.
