2020 bay Thoroughbred mare with a star, approximately 15.2hh.
Last race was 7/19/25- 19 starts- was kept in training until June. Retired sound, we just couldnāt get her race to go.
This girl is especially meaningful to us. She was the first foal born to us after we got back into racing. We also owned and raced her mom. She was a homebred what was also owner/ trained.
And truthfully, if she were taller, Iād keep her myself, Iām just way too tall for her. Iām going to trail ride her until she sells
She has had one ride off the track so far, mostly because I wanted to see what she thought about going over fences. She was willing and game, and I think she has the potential to be a really fun little sport horse. Other than that ride, she has not had a formal restart, so she is still a nice blank slate for someone to bring along their own way.
She was broke by someone we know, so she was taught to lunge and long-line/ground drive in addition to her track training. She walks, trots, and canters both directions and has always been classy under saddle. I expect her to be a pretty straightforward restart in experienced hands.
She has a big heart and loves having a job. She bonds closely with her people and LOVES being groomed, scratched, fussed over, and especially given candy. She has a lot of personality and is one of those horses who really becomes attached to her caretakers.
I could see her being a really fun prospect for jumpers, eventing, dressage, or an all-around sport horse home. She is RRP eligible and is retiring without known limitations.
She is currently barefoot. Her walls are holding up but her soles arenāt as hard as I want them to be. She would benefit from being back in front shoes. She is acclimated to turn out and has been with a mixed herd for three months.

ā¢ If you have never owned or restarted an OTTB, you must be working with an experienced trainer.
ā¢ No high-tensile fencing.
ā¢ Must have access to a barn/stallānot solely a run-in shed.
ā¢ Someone who understands how to properly feed a TB and understands the calories to maintain their body weight.
ā¢ Established veterinarian and farrier.
ā¢ References may be requested.
Our horses are our pets and are incredibly important to us. I am picky about where they go, and she will stay with us until the right home comes along. Finding the right match is much more important than finding the fastest one.
