All goats are Nigerian Dwarf

- We will have 2 does in milk. Can go with or without their babies.

- One yearling wether.

- Three doelings. Can be weaned, but would benefit with a bottle or going with dam. One can be registered.

- Three baby wethers. Could go with dam or seperate. One would benefit from continuing a bottle.

- One bottle buckling. Can be registered and would be a good herdsire, or pet home.

"Boy goats are awful and stinky and horrible pets."

I hear this almost every time someone asks me if I have pets available and it is heartbreaking. Boys make the BEST pets. Just castrate them first because buck *are* nasty.

Button is getting snipped today. He is not breeding quality, but you know what he is? Sweet. And snuggly. And gentle. And will make a fantastic pet. And without the boys filling him with bucky hormones, he will be as clean and chill as ever.

Currently available Bottle Babies, complete with wiggly pictures.

Valeria: Black and white doeling, blue eyes, disudded. Suspected that she might turn chocolate or roan as she ages. Sweet as can be and wants all the scratches Can go with or without papers.

Volt: Gold and white buckling, blue eyed and naturally polled. Can go with or without papers.

Vanellope: Gold and white doeling, blue eyes, disbudded. Very energetic, friendly, curious and persistent. No papers. She can go with or without her dam (Iris) and siblings (Violet and Varrick).

Button: Chocolate Cou Clair with extensive white buckling, brown eyes, naturally polled. Been exclusively bottle raised since birth and is a bit on the runty side. Will be castrated before he leaves the farm. Looking for a pet home.

I write their name on the bag.

Raising meat for your family is taboo for many, especially when you name them and love them during their lives. Why would they deserve anything less than the best you have to offer even if the eventual goal is meat?

This is Jedi.

He was our first ever goat that we bought for our homestead. Our first herdsire that gave us dozens of beautiful babies over our first few years. I have two of his daughters and one of his grandaughters (with a total of 6 babies on the three of them!) on our farm. I promised Jedi he would never leave and I kept that promise.

I loved Jedi desperately. He thrived being a pain in my t**h. We ended up castrating him when we decided to focus on our ADGA registered goats because even though he was beautiful, he was grade. Instead, he got to live full time with the girls and he *loved* it. He also was a destructive turd and loved to challenge my builds and shelters, taking pride when he broke something new.

Now he has a different job. He will nourish our family. I wrote his name on each bag so we can remember how he lived. How he had a wonderful life, was a fat brick of a dairy goat (he was 103lbs!) and that he never felt a second of pain at the end.

If you eat meat, consider knowing their name. It makes you really think about exactly what it took to put that meal on the table. You learn to take it more seriously. To appreciate the nourishment given a bit more. To appreciate the hard work that was put into raising that animal by a farmer who spent weeks, months or years caring for them.

Family deal: Rosie, Vik and Thunder!

Rosie is a 1yo first freshener and she is available with her baby wether, Vik. She's a fantastic mother, very friendly to people and has been training on the milk stand for the last month. She doesn't have to be milked if Vik is kept with her, but she can be if desired. Rosie is a chocolate cou clair, brown eyed and disbudded.

Vik was born March 7th and got his cou claire from his mama. This handsome man is blue eyed, disbudded and wethered. His mama does a great job taking care of him and he is already on coccidia preventative.

Thunder is Rosie's half brother, born within a couple weeks of herself. They share the same sire and they have a special kind of bond as they are usually seen within a few feet of one another and always caught snuggling. He is gold and white with brown eyes, disbudded and wethered. Thunder is super easy to handle, sweet and gentle.

If you are not looking to breed, but would rather have brush eaters or pets, this is the perfect trio. Rosie is healthy and could be bred back in time, but is safe from being bred back by brother and son.
