Sired x the paint legend, Strait From Texas dec’d 2006, and out of a daughter of Hes A Peptospoonful.
My love of paint horses is as strong as ever. There’s one thing that I’ll never do though and that is sacrifice quality for color. Many of you ask about homozygosity for the tobiano gene or a color panel. I honestly can’t tell you about the results of very many in my herd. It will never influence the way I select to breed a paint and therefore I choose to avoid even the slightest temptation by not testing the broodmares for those traits. I want a horse with a great mind, super conformation and a cow eating athlete under the saddle.
This c**t is a prime example of my goal to create an awesome paint. Unfortunately, the tobiano gene didn’t pass through but he’s still a winner in my book.
