Congratulations to Caylee Parrish and Reba! (The Farmers Girl 34)

Reserve Level 1 Futurity Champion!!
Adding $17,500 to their earnings. I couldn’t be more proud of these two girls. Caylee was my trainer here at the farm and went on to show and train for Todd Crawford. She’s done so well and I look for her to continue to reach for the stars. She was right by my side as Zak was showing. I think that it was meant to be that she is the one to put the first RCH earnings on a Zak baby.
Thank you Caylee! Love you, my girl.❤️

Sired x the paint legend, Strait From Texas dec’d 2006, and out of a daughter of Hes A Peptospoonful.
My love of paint horses is as strong as ever. There’s one thing that I’ll never do though and that is sacrifice quality for color. Many of you ask about homozygosity for the tobiano gene or a color panel. I honestly can’t tell you about the results of very many in my herd. It will never influence the way I select to breed a paint and therefore I choose to avoid even the slightest temptation by not testing the broodmares for those traits. I want a horse with a great mind, super conformation and a cow eating athlete under the saddle.
This c**t is a prime example of my goal to create an awesome paint. Unfortunately, the tobiano gene didn’t pass through but he’s still a winner in my book.
