$4.25 / lb hanging weight
Approximately $1.20/ lb hanging weight for processing.

Beef cattle from finisher who repeatedly has cattle finishing at PRIME at the packer. So good cattle with GREAT meat.

People (ourselves included some days) ask why we keep milking the Guernseys? The Holsteins milk more, the Jerseys are more efficient.

This right here is one of the big reasons…. Their docility. They are super tame, calm friendly cows.

Oak always wants to help milk. She can milk almost any Guernsey cow, the same can’t be said for the jerseys or any Holstein.

And just in case you didn’t know- we do sell raw milk. Send us a message to learn more about what that process looks like. 🥛

He’s been surrounded by people who have shown up with love, support, goodies and help. And we are thankful for them more than they’ll ever know ❤️

We also are thankful for the crew that has picked up the slack while Mel has been figuring out the whole dairy human thing…

Abby, Vince and Sharon - handling milkings, baby calves, scraping, regular chores and feeding as well as a whole catch-all of extra stuff that needs done.

Oak & Pay - officially keeping things in order and getting everything ready so “Aunt Mel’s baby” can come to the farm

Cadence - for keeping the products moving

We’re busy surviving over here, soon to be thriving though! 💙🐮🤞
