Aloha,
After a lot changes during Covid and a big move to the Big Island. Naked Cow has been regrouping and reimagining our business and how we can further our cause of local sustainable food production in Hawaii. It has been a difficult journey these past few years trying to keep the last Oahu dairy alive. 😞Although we still have our cows on the Big Island we have had to close our farm.
We’re wanting to remain apart of the education around the importance of dairy production and sustainable farming on the islands. The best way we know how to do this is continuing our cheese classes in Honolulu and other islands. We would do this as a non-profit organization focusing on education . We have seen a huge success with our cheese classes in the past as it’s a fun and educational way to spend a good evening!
It’s important for us to know what kind of support we would have before starting this endeavor into the non-profit educational space.
