One of the services we proudly offer at OGEats is our Serve Team. This service was created to help alleviate the stress on the hosting family so they can be fully present for the celebration, enjoy their guests, and focus on the program while we take care of the food.

From setting up the food line, serving guests, replenishing the pans throughout dinner, breaking everything down, cleaning the food area, and foiling up the remaining food for the family once the dinner line closes, we’re there to serve so you don’t have to.

This past Friday, we had the privilege of serving at Taniyah’s graduation celebration. OGEats prepared the teriyaki chicken, fa’alifu fai, and rice. The rest of the delicious food on the line was lovingly prepared by their family and friends, and we’re grateful to have served it alongside our own dishes. We always want to give credit where it’s due because every dish was made with love.

One of the things we cherish most about being Samoan is the way family and friends always come together. Whether it’s preparing a favorite dish, bringing food, or lending a helping hand, everyone contributes to making the celebration special.

Thank you, Sis Quilla and your children, for trusting OGEats to serve your family on such a meaningful day. It was truly an honor to help make your celebration a little easier. Congratulations, Taniyah! We love you and we pray God’s continued blessings over your next chapter. 🤍

Yesterday was a little bittersweet.

Helen’s baby shower catering officially marks my last catering working full-time with OGEats. I don’t play when it comes to our catering business, OGEats is our baby!

Last September, I took a leap of faith and resigned from my job of almost 10 years with Army CYS. The plan was to take some time off and eventually return to work, but during that season, God opened the door for me to run OGEats full time. Looking back, I can honestly say His timing was perfect. He faithfully provided for me and my husband through this business, and we are so grateful for every opportunity He gave us.

This summer has been one of our busiest yet, and yesterday wrapped up our final summer catering before I begin a new chapter at DreamHouse Ewa Beach Middle School.

I’ll definitely miss the freedom of making my own schedule and doing what I love every day. But I’m excited for this next season. I truly believe God leads us through different chapters for a reason, and I’m looking forward to all He has in store for our family.

To every customer who has ordered from us, referred us, shared our posts, and trusted us with your special events, THANK YOU. Whether it was a birthday, graduation, wedding, church event, baby shower, or family gathering, thank you for allowing OGEats to be a small part of your memories. Your support has meant more than you’ll ever know.

And before anyone askS 😂 OGEats is NOT closing! We’re simply transitioning back to weekend catering and taking events whenever our schedules allow. We’ll still be here, just balancing life a little differently.

It’s a new season. Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re excited to continue serving our community whenever we can, and above all, we’ll continue trusting the One who has faithfully carried us every step of the way.

Here’s to new beginnings, God’s perfect timing, and the next chapter. ❤️
