Windy Meadows Farm, Laurel Branch, WV Our Windy Meadows We have a little farmette of 9 acres located in the prettiest place on the earth. Here I make Blackberry and Elderberry jams.

There used to be a community here in Laurel Branch when the train came through the valley in the early nineteen hundreds. The old Methodest Church still stands and the country store is still standing across the road that is privately owned. We have 5 Southdown Babydoll sheep and a dozen chickens. I process the wool,
spin it into yarn and knit items which I sell at Paint Bank, Virginia at the Mountain Crafters store.
