One bite and you’ll be hooked: Summer’s crunchiest treat is here- and so easy with Shaw’s pre-cut fruit.

Ingredients: watermelon, sugar and bowl of water with ice cubes water, and chopsticks

1. Pour white sugar into pot with boiling water
2. Pierce watermelon cubes from the container onto chopsticks
3. When sugar water gets to 300 degrees dip skewered watermelon into boiling water
4. Quickly remove and dip in ice bath and then rest on tray

This is the official appetizer of Summer 2026. If you bring this to the pool party, expect an empty bowl in five minutes.

Ingredients: Pre-cooked shrimp from Shaw’s, jarred chunky salsa, fresh diced cucumber, chopped avocado, lime, tortilla chips

1. Take tail off shrimp and add to bowl shrimp into bite-sized pieces
2. Chop and add cucumber, & avocado
3. Pour a jar of jarred salsa
4. Squeeze two whole limes over the mixture
5. Stir
6. Present bowl with tortilla chips
