Like and follow page for any changes/updates. And also Rick has been having issues with the business phone which will hopefully soon be fixed. So don't be worried/irritated if you've tried to call or haven't had a call returned.

08/13/2020

We have closed for the season. Thanks for a great year. Be well

07/29/2020

07/17/2020

We are picking Berkley and early blue today. We do have a couple others if you ask when you get here. Again please don't pick in other areas without asking first for safety concerns.

07/15/2020

We are picking several different varieties today. One of which is blue crop which several people have asked me about. We are trying to get people into the best picking but if you are really trying to have a certain kind please ask. Also please don't pick in areas outside where we are sending people without checking. Thank you!

07/14/2020

07/10/2020

Picking spartian Duke and blueray today. Lots of berries cool weather, just a damp lol

So today looks like kind of a one off not great picking day. Particularly if you want the spartians. We have a picking rotation so tomorrow should be better, ill post when I can in the morning. Thank you for your understanding

07/08/2020

Word has apparently spread that we do offer prepicked. Price is $3.50 a pound and in quantities of 5. It is highly recommended you call a couple days ahead to place an order and we can call when we have them. We are trying to keep up as best we can in the heat. We are sold out of already picked for the day. Feel free to call with questions or to order. Upick is $2.20 a pound for under 25lbs or $2.00 a pound for over 25 (please no combining for this, it needs to be rung up and paid for all together for discount). We are here 7 to 7 everyday but Sunday. Edit: we are primarily a u-pick patch and appreciate your understanding while we try and accommodate those wanting prepicked. We are doing the best we can πŸ™‚

07/07/2020

We are picking Spartans, blue rays and dukes today.

07/04/2020

You are all the very best customers any business could have. Day one 1 done. Such a very busy start to the year! Everyone so friendly and understanding with how overwhelmed we got for a little bit. With us training some new help it's so great how patient everyone was even though i know your hot. Picking was so good im glad so many get to enjoy it. Morning is always the busy time, if you can handle the heat afternoons are pretty slow. Thank you all again, looking forward to more amazing days πŸ˜ƒ.

07/02/2020

Hey all. A couple things I missed on my last big post. We are the same hours and prices as last year. 07/02/2020

Ready for the big day. Opening tomorrow 7am! We will be open 7am to 7pm on the 4th as well.

06/29/2020

We are getting ready for our opening on July 3rd!! As we are doing so, we are planning on making some changes. Please practice physical distancing. I'm just reading there is a mask ordinance for Elkhart and St. Joe county so please have one with you. Edit: as we are outside, masks are not required, they would very much be appreciated while at the counter. Please do not come to pick if you've been ill. Our set up may look a little different if you've been here before, to help aid in distancing and cleaning. We are planning on having hand washing available and do have lots of hand sanitizer. Prepicked will not be available until after July 6th as we focus of training new employees. To cut back on the handling of prepicked they will only be available in 5lb increments this year. We recommend calling ahead also for their availability. You are welcome to message on facebook with questions, but once we open I'll be busy working so it might take a bit for a response. Phone calls during business hours are always welcome. Please do not text business number. We will not have any drinks this year due to health concerns so please bring something with you. -Laura

Lemon Blueberry Coffee Cake

You regulars who know me know I'm actually not a huge blueberry lover lol. But put a blueberry coffee cake in front of me and it's all mine 🀣. A perfect way to use up any frozen berries before the season starts β€” Laura

Tender, moist lemon coffee cake loaded with blueberries crowned with a crunchy, sweet crumb topping and drizzled with a tart lemon glaze. A fun way to change up blueberry muffins. I was microwaving a bowl of Trader Joe’s Instant Multigrain Triple Berry Instant Hot Cereal for breakfast last week, a...

06/11/2020

Hello all. We've had several messages and calls regarding both opening date and sale of other produce. We are now looking at an opening date of July 6th this could definitely change depending on the weather and I'll let you know for sure when I know for sure πŸ˜ƒ We only are selling blueberries this year. There just wasn't time or money this year to try and do more, but it sure would be nice someday. We are working daily on any changes we need to make regarding covid and before we open I'll post about that. Hope everyone gets to enjoy the beautiful weather this week and we can't wait to see you all soon!

05/10/2020

A very Happy Mothers Day to all you hard working ladies out there. I hope everyone is well. This sure has been a crazy 2020 so far. Rest assured we are working hard (Rick mostly 🀣) for a great season this year. We will of course be following whatever safety recommendations advised come opening. The farm will look noticeably different as Rick has shifted all of our picking into the back of the farm. This has left us will considerable space and I'm looking for your input. How many of you would be interested in purchasing other produce with your blueberries? What would interest you? Please leave us some feed back and we can't wait to see you in about 7 weeks πŸ˜ƒ -Laura

08/22/2019

Just realized I never changed our business hours for our off season. We have closed for the year. Thank you all so much for a amazing summer πŸ˜ƒ.

08/02/2019

We are still open!!! Right now we are looking at closing on the 17th. Picking will be almost entirely in the Jerseys starting Monday and we will be moving to the stand up front. Today we have Draper as well. Next week will be the last of the pre-picked for the year so call soon if you still want to get your order in. Prices are $2.20/pd or $2.00 for over 25pds. Pre-picked is $3.50/pd. Cash or check only please.

07/30/2019

Mornings with no customers are brutal 😞. Come see us, we still have lots of great picking. Today is one of the special days where if you ask for a certain variety we can probably get you into it. Don't miss out on filling up your freezer or getting lots to do some canning while the weather is so nice.

07/27/2019

We are picking Berkeley and Spartan today 7/27 and Monday 7/29. We may have Jersey available around Tuesday of next week. If you are wanting a certain variety of berry you may want to call before you head over. I'll keep you posted as soon as we start talking about a closing date, it will probably be in two weeks. As that date gets closer picking really slows down, so if you still need to fill up your freezer try and come soon!

07/24/2019

While I have a minute and confirmation of this. We will only have Spartan available until Saturday. These are the younger, shorter bushes on the north side of the farm. There will be no picking allowed elsewhere until Saturday. Thank you for your understanding hope to see you soon

Very disappointed Tu.7/20 when told no more pre picked or pre picked orders being taken/by a rather rude young man.
Before you know it, it will be late June and July and the blueberries will be ripe at Beech Road Blueberry Farm (Be sure to check with the farm before heading out)! My recommendation is, after a year of being locked down; get OUT of the house when the blueberries are ripe to get fresh air and fresh blueberries at Beech Road. Then for great, easy to follow recipes to make blueberry pie, jam, jelly, freeze or make blueberry sauce from the blueberries you get there, see these pages (below).

Be sure to get a few pounds of extra blueberries to freeze for smoothies and pies in the winter, jam and more! It so easy to freeze blueberries and make pies, smoothies, jelly, coffee cake later!! And if there's another pandemic, you can make your own comfort food from the blueberries you froze in July! πŸ˜€
