Every dollar given to the Morland Community Foundation this month is matched, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000.
$25 becomes $50. $100 becomes $200. $500 becomes $1,000. No catch, no fine print — a donor has committed to match what this community raises, through October 31.
The foundation is volunteer-run. It owns and operates four buildings in town — the grocery store, the community kitchen, the workspace and the Bank Museum — and it funds the projects nobody else will, like the veterans memorial and the fishing piers at Antelope Lake. Every dollar stays in Morland.
